Summary Teaching

We continue literacy development by reading, gaming, art, and by using alternative words to expand our student's vocabulary. 

​

We also begin Spanish lessons and grow in our understanding of different cultures around the world. 

 

We focus on bible stories, math, science, the US governmental structure, geography, and even begin teaching the concept of work and reward (economics). We introduce these topics though daily activities which involve art, singing, animation, live demonstrations and team projects. 

 

In preparation for grade school, lessons times are fun, however they require extended focus to expand attention spans and increase listening skills.

We continue our science experiments and highlighting math concepts and also introduce competitive games, such as checkers, chess, monopoly, etc., which builds their critical thinking skills, memory, and focus!
