Summary Teaching

We target early literacy development by reading, gaming (pointing, naming and handling objects), art, and listening. Activities include different methods in teaching the alphabet, identifying objects (i.e., boy, girl, cat, dog, bike, car, plane etc.) and emphasizing numerical values of objects.

We also teach colors and allow the student to explore their knowledge through various games/activities involving colors.
We focus on expanding math and color coordination skills, like pattering and counting, by doing daily activities which involve singing, clapping and movement. We also build memory, social and focus skills by learning each other's names and putting toys away.

It's Safe to Share!

We are into developing motor skills, however motor skills without manners can get messy! At this age we emphasize the importance of sharing toys, taking turns, and considering others.

Expression

At this age, children really begin to understand drawing and writing as a form of Expression, so we do lots of both every day. Additionally, we maintain Music activities as a tool to promote social development and emotional capacity. We make musical instruments and art time a top priority in all our classes. We also maintain learning-based music that the students can sing along and dance to!
