Teaching Toddlers

We target early literacy development by reading, gaming (pointing, naming and handling objects), art, and listening. Activities include different methods in teaching the alphabet, identifying objects (i.e., boy, girl, cat, dog, bike, car, plane etc.) and emphasizing numerical values of objects.

We also teach colors and allow the student to explore their knowledge through various games/activities involving colors.

Work on Walking

Crawling toddlers get the pleasure of being barefoot! No shoes, no socks! Not only does going barefoot help the student in walking, but its a great sensory experience for your child(ren) as well!

In this class we will assist, support, and encourage your child(ren) to get up and moving! They will also have the needed motivation from their classmates!

We provide a wabble safe environment that will prevent injury and provide comfort for the student as they embark on their walk of life.

Expression

Music and art are amazing tools to promote social development and emotional capacities of young children. Children learn to sway with the music, dance to the beat, clap their hands to the rhythm, and sing lyrics to the tune. This complex learning helps young children develop intricate abilities for attending to what is going on around them. This being made known; we make musical instruments and art time a top priority in our class. At this stage we also introduce more learning-based music that the students can sing along and dance to!
